This late-mediaeval church ruin lies close to my house on the back roads to the airport, between Old Portmarnock and Kinsealy in north County Dublin. The aircraft is on 'short finals' for Runway 28R and is a memory of my retirement from flying. For this painting I have used only two colours: Chinese vermilion and yellow ochre, with black and white.
